After the Firó, days are back to normal buzzling but peaceful lifestyle. Last week’s write up about Ca’n Gata was when they had their special menu with snails but on any other day, it is the menu del dia. Three course meal for prices starting from €9.75 including bread, olives, wine and water. For each course there are two options except for their dessert which has a slightly larger choice. Between the both of us, we had the more expensive menu, €11.75, and an additional starter.
Tagliatelle pasta – A rich and generous starter.
Vegetable lentil soup. Flavourful and clear broth.
Meatloaf with thickened tomato sauce – The meat was slightly bland but the delicious sauce made up for that.
Chocolate cake – Slightly dry for my taste but the icing is suitably pleasant with the sponge cake.
